Lithography Limited Edition Print

Offset lithography prints are made using a traditional color separation process, in which the image is photographed and broken down into the four primary color groups – cyan, magenta, yellow and black.  Printing plates are created with a portion of the image to represent each color, and the reproduction is then made by running the paper across each plate and layering the primary colors in a series of tiny dots to produce exact tonal values.

The Home for Darters limited edition is printed with ultra-violet rated, fade resistant inks on 100% acid-free paper. Each print is signed by the artist (limited edition of 500).

Giclee Limited Edition Prints

Giclee printmaking is a highly sophisticated process that produces near continuous-tone printing. The printing process produces tiny droplets of color, exhibiting superior detail and subtle shade variations. Giclee printmaking produces a wide color gamut and this color quality reproduces a print that is as close to the original as possible.
