Fond MemoriesFor many of us, nature has a way of deepening the peace and joy we experience when we spend time outside with the people we love. The vivid memories we create can last a lifetime. Recently one of my Home for Loon prints found a new nest with a dear friend. The image reminded her of a day she spent with her daughter on a lake in Vermont. They enjoyed watching and listening to a loon family which created a lasting memory for my friend. Now the loon image brings back this special time they spent together. A few fond memories that come to mind... Watching a colorful sunset with my family on the back porch. Looking for seashells with my brother on a soft sandy beach. Spotting timber wolves in Yellowstone with my aunt. Appreciating a friend's beautiful garden and flowers. Watching the hummingbirds feed on big desert blooms. Enjoying a morning hike with a treasured friend. No matter the season, art can take us to a place we love, even if we can't be there in the moment. During this wonderful season filled with family and friends, I wish you many lovely moments together, creating fond memories in nature that you'll cherish for a lifetime... Warm winter greetings, Conservation CornerDuring the holiday season, is it a challenge sometimes to find fresh new gifts for friends and family that they will enjoy and appreciate? If so, I'd love to share another option! You can give a donation to their favorite for-purpose organization in their honor. There are so many great orgs doing so much good in the world. Many of these non-profits will also offer to match your donation dollar-for-dollar during the holidays. Then you can double your impact! So next time you find yourself wondering what to give someone special, give the gift of creating a more beautiful and caring world! Stroll at Echo Lake ParkDo you want to take your family and friends who are visiting over the holidays to a stunning place with views that are out of this world? Then let's go visit another Denver Mountain Park! Echo Lake is a short drive from the Denver area and you can take an easy stroll around the lake to marvel at the surrounding vista. Here's a link to get all the details! This park is 10,600 feet above sea level and your family and friends will get a close-up view of the awesome Rocky Mountains. It's absolutely gorgeous! Wishing you a wonderful season creating beautiful memories in nature...Comments are closed.

With love and appreciation for the natural world, I'm inspired to share how plants and animals are connected to one another, to their ecosystem homes, and to people around the world. I bring into visual form the concept of biodiversity and the unity of all life. I hope my art helps you feel your own special connection to the land, the water, and all precious life on Earth. In our connection, lies hope. ~ Rebecca Archives
