When I was a little girl, I used to cocoon in my room to draw and color for hours in my quiet little space. As I grew and went to school, my favorite classes were always art and science, and as an adult, I continue to pursue these passions. I am inspired to express how species are connected to each other and to their homes through art. I want to somehow bring into visual form the concept of biological diversity and what it means to be connected to the whole.
Through all the ups and downs of life, nature has always been there for me, just like my family and close friends. Nature is where I feel most connected to something bigger than me. It's where I heal. It's my home, my solace, my peace. So now, it's time to give back. It's an honor to share my work and its message to help conserve the natural world; to inspire a feeling of connection to the unity of life.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
